CoH Academy Agape Worship Strengthening Your Spirit CLASS MEDIA: All the videos and podcasts that you need to fully understand each class, is available in the class itself. But, if you need to find them in a central location, you can look for the Media folder in each Course. They are called Media 101 or Media 201, etc. Look for them above the classes on the Introduction page of each course. This media folder also has additional videos and podcasts for further learning about each course.
  • Step 1: Sign In.
    On the www.cohacademy.com page, click on ‘SIGN IN’ if your name is not showing. Once the form opens, enter your email address and password. Click on SIGN IN!
  • Step 2: Select a class.
    Certain courses and classes should always be done in numerical order: 101-401. The password for the next course will be given in the last class of the course or at the discussion. FIRST: Click on “Learn about the CoH”. SECOND: Click on “101 Foundations”. THIRD: Select Class 101-1 (Grace and Mercy). MEDIA: Videos and podcasts for the course can be found by clicking on the "MEDIA" button. Each Courts Course has its own Media button. Watch the video or podcast for deeper learning. Extra learning material can be found in the videos labeled with a .2 or .5, such as 2.5. Not all classes have videos, some only have podcasts. All Courts Classes should be done in proper numerical order 101-1 followed by 101-2, etc. All Courts Courses should be done in order as well. This is the correct order: 101 Foundations 201 Remaining Free 301 Receiving Charges 401 Removing Charges Please remember to: Schedule a Grace and Mercy prayer appointment when you have submitted the answers for class 101-1. The scheduling link is in that class. Schedule your Discussion. You will find more details in the last class of each Courts Course. Each class typically consists of: 1. Class Introduction. 2. Link to the Article. 3. Audio and Video of the class. 4. Links to prayer and other appointments relevant for each class. 5. Link to schedule a Tutoring Support session with an Elder. 6. Class Questions.
  • Step 3: Find class material.
    It may require careful reading as some of the questions may refer to this information from time to time. Next, click on the link for the article: This will take you to the material for the class. You can also watch the video.
  • Step 4: Questions: Online and/or offline.
    If you are doing classes online on the CoH Academy website: After you have read the article and watched or listened to the video/audio, you are now ready to complete and submit the answers to the questions online. See remaining steps for further instructions. If you are doing classes in a workbook: In the workbook, the questions are found at the end of each chapter.  If you would like to receive credit for each class, you may easily enter your answers on our website, if you would like to have them checked. Register at www.cohacademy.com and sign in to complete the answers online. See remaining steps for further instructions.
  • Step 5: How to Answer Class Questions.
    Always use the SAME first and last name that you registered with, in order to get the credit for the class. Read each question carefully and follow the instructions. Select all answers that apply.  It can be more than one on some questions.  Hint: Often the questions are asked in the order they appear in the article.  Read the first question then read the article until you see the answer.   Answer the first question. Read the next question and read the article until you know that answer.   Answer the next question.
  • Step 6: Submit Answers.
    When you get the the very last question, there are two possible answers to select: If you select the first answer, then your class paper will be marked as usual. If you select the second answer, you will receive an email invitation to attend a Tutoring Session with an Elder where the class material will be explained.   Remember to click “Submit Answers” when you are done.
  • Step 7: Confirming Submission.
    After submitting your answers, you will receive a confirmation email with a message similar to this: Please note that it may take between 3 and 5 days for your answers to be marked and returned to you.  You do not have to wait to receive the marked class back, before continuing with the next class. FINALLY: After you have completed all the classes in a course, you can schedule a Discussion with a team member who will give you the password for the next course. The link to schedule the Discussion is in the last class of each course. To move onto the next course, click on or hover over the “Courts” tab and select the next course.   • What is Zoom?
    All appointments are done with Zoom which is FREE for you to use. This allows for privacy and meeting ability all across the world with only a wifi connection or a phone where you can dial a number to join the meeting. You will need to download the Zoom app at: www.zoom.us. Once you have made an appointment or booked an event, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will provide all the meeting information including the meeting link. After you have installed the zoom app, all you need to do is to click on the meeting link in your emal that says: "Join Zoom Meeting" and you will be ready to attend. This video shows you how to join a meeting on your cell phone.   • How to use ZOOM on a computer (laptop or PC)
    VIDEO: Using Zoom on a PC or Laptop. When downloading the app, always select the 'basic' free app. If you can't find the Zoom app to download, you may try searching for Zoom Cloud meetings, or Zoom Client for meetings. Please take the time to download the app well before your meeting time so you can be sure you are on time. How to Install the Zoom app: Go to www.zoom.us. Click on "Sign up, it is free' and complete the required information. Click on "Go to download' Once installed, click on the Zoom icon to open the app. Ways to join a meeting using Zoom: Join by using a meeting link. You will find this link in the email you will receive as confirmation of your appointment. If, at this point you haven't installed Zoom, you will be prompted to do so when you click on the meeting link. Join by dialing from a landline or cell phone. The numbers to dial are at the bottom of the email you will receive as confirmation of your appointment. If they are not, here is the link to the international codes: Zoom International Dial-in Numbers - Zoom Follow the voice prompts that will help you to join the meeting. Join by using a Zoom number on your Zoom app. After you have downloaded the app, open it and click "Join". Find the meeting id number in the meeting confirmation email, enter the number into your Zoom app and click "Join'. Connecting to Audio: When joining for the first time, you want to "Join with Computer Audio". Thereafter it should be automatic. If you are having difficulty with your audio, here are some options to try: How to use Zoom controls on a laptop: 1 - Mute or unmute your device. Default for a meeting is always to mute your microphone, only unmute when asked to do so by the meeting host. You also have options to test your speaker and microphone and you can open audio settings. 2 - Turn your video on or off. Default for a meeting is to always turn your camera off unless asked to turn it on by the meeting host. Turning on your video slows down the speed of your internet. 3 - See who is present in the Zoom room. You can also change your name here. 4 - Open chat facility. 5 - Share your screen with others - only with permission and if asked to do so by the meeting host. 6 - Use reactions such as raising a hand, smiling, etc. 7 - Leave or end the meeting. 8 - Your profile picture. Screen Sharing: As you go through the Academy, you might find that you need some technical advice from time to time. This might include help to book an appointment, how to submit class papers, how to change your password, etc. To enable us to help you, we might require that you share your screen with us so we can walk you through the steps. This is how you share your screen: 1 - Click on 'Share Screen'. 2 - Your current screen is highlighted in blue. 3 - Select and highlight (in blue) the screen you want to share. 4 - Click 'Share'. When you are done sharing your screen, click 'Stop Share'. Zoom Etiquette: Pay attention to your video, microphone and screen sharing settings to avoid embarrassing mistakes. When in a Zoom meeting, focus on the conversation - don't do house chores or drive. Ask and respond to questions using chat, unless asked by the host to unmute and speak. Ensure your workspace is quiet. Be sensitive to background noises while you are speaking. Check your wifi, test your video and audio before the meeting. Familiarise yourself with the reaction buttons so you can raise a hand, etc. Turn off your video and don't forget to mute your device when not speaking. All appointments should always be kept confidential. Remember to always break soul ties after every meeting - you will learn more about this in the Academy classes. Don't be late. But, if you need to find them in a central location, you can look for the Media folder in each Course. They are called Media 101 or Media 201, etc. Look for them above the classes on the Introduction page of each course.   • Step 1: Sign In.
    On the www.cohacademy.com page, click on ‘SIGN IN’ if your name is not showing. Once the form opens, enter your email address and password. Click on SIGN IN!
  • Step 2: Select a class.
    Certain courses and classes should always be done in numerical order: 101-401. The password for the next course will be given in the last class of the course or at the discussion. FIRST: Click on “Learn about the CoH”. SECOND: Click on “101 Foundations”. THIRD: Select Class 101-1 (Grace and Mercy). MEDIA: Videos and podcasts for the course can be found by clicking on the "MEDIA" button. Each Courts Course has its own Media button. Watch the video or podcast for deeper learning. Extra learning material can be found in the videos labeled with a .2 or .5, such as 2.5. Not all classes have videos, some only have podcasts. All Courts Classes should be done in proper numerical order 101-1 followed by 101-2, etc. All Courts Courses should be done in order as well. This is the correct order: 101 Foundations 201 Remaining Free 301 Receiving Charges 401 Removing Charges Please remember to: Schedule a Grace and Mercy prayer appointment when you have submitted the answers for class 101-1. The scheduling link is in that class. Schedule your Discussion. You will find more details in the last class of each Courts Course. Each class typically consists of: 1. Class Introduction. 2. Link to the Article. 3. Audio and Video of the class. 4. Links to prayer and other appointments relevant for each class. 5. Link to schedule a Tutoring Support session with an Elder. 6.   • Step 3: Find class material.
    It may require careful reading as some of the questions may refer to this information from time to time. Next, click on the link for the article: This will take you to the material for the class. You can also watch the video.
  • Step 4: Questions: Online and/or offline.
    If you are doing classes online on the CoH Academy website: After you have read the article and watched or listened to the video/audio, you are now ready to complete and submit the answers to the questions online. See remaining steps for further instructions. If you are doing classes in a workbook: In the workbook, the questions are found at the end of each chapter.  If you would like to receive credit for each class, you may easily enter your answers on our website, if you would like to have them checked. Register at www.cohacademy.com and sign in to complete the answers online. See remaining steps for further instructions.
  • Step 5: How to Answer Class Questions.
    Always use the SAME first and last name that you registered with, in order to get the credit for the class. Read each question carefully and follow the instructions. Select all answers that apply.  It can be more than one on some questions.  Hint: Often the questions are asked in the order they appear in the article.  Read the first question then read the article until you see the answer.   Answer the first question. Read the next question and read the article until you know that answer.   Answer the next question.
  • Step 6: Submit Answers.
    When you get the the very last question, there are two possible answers to select: If you select the first answer, then your class paper will be marked as usual. If you select the second answer, you will receive an email invitation to attend a Tutoring Session with an Elder where the class material will be explained.   Remember to click “Submit Answers” when you are done.
  • Step 7: Confirming Submission.
    After submitting your answers, you will receive a confirmation email with a message similar to this: Please note that it may take between 3 and 5 days for your answers to be marked and returned to you.  You do not have to wait to receive the marked class back, before continuing with the next class. FINALLY: After you have completed all the classes in a course, you can schedule a Discussion with a team member who will give you the password for the next course. This allows for privacy and meeting ability all across the world with only a wifi connection or a phone where you can dial a number to join the meeting. You will need to download the Zoom app at: www.zoom.us. Once you have made an appointment or booked an event, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will provide all the meeting information including the meeting link. After you have installed the zoom app, all you need to do is to click on the meeting link in your emal that says: "Join Zoom Meeting" and you will be ready to attend. This is how you share your screen: 1 - Click on 'Share Screen'. 2 - Your current screen is highlighted in blue. 3 - Select and highlight (in blue) the screen you want to share. 4 - Click 'Share'. When you are done sharing your screen, click 'Stop Share'. Zoom Etiquette: Pay attention to your video, microphone and screen sharing settings to avoid embarrassing mistakes. When in a Zoom meeting, focus on the conversation - don't do house chores or drive. Ask and respond to questions using chat, unless asked by the host to unmute and speak.   • Step 1: Sign In.
    On the www.cohacademy.com page, click on ‘SIGN IN’ if your name is not showing. Once the form opens, enter your email address and password. Click on SIGN IN!
  • Step 2: Select a class.
    Certain courses and classes should always be done in numerical order: 101-401. The password for the next course will be given in the last class of the course or at the discussion. FIRST: Click on “Learn about the CoH”. SECOND: Click on “101 Foundations”. THIRD: Select Class 101-1 (Grace and Mercy). MEDIA: Videos and podcasts for the course can be found by clicking on the "MEDIA" button. Each Courts Course has its own Media button. Watch the video or podcast for deeper learning. Extra learning material can be found in the videos labeled with a .2 or .5, such as 2.5. Not all classes have videos, some only have podcasts. All Courts Classes should be done in proper numerical order 101-1 followed by 101-2, etc. All Courts Courses should be done in order as well. This is the correct order: 101 Foundations 201 Remaining Free 301 Receiving Charges 401 Removing Charges Please remember to: Schedule a Grace and Mercy prayer appointment when you have submitted the answers for class 101-1. The scheduling link is in that class. Schedule your Discussion. You will find more details in the last class of each Courts Course. Each class typically consists of: 1. Class Introduction. 2. Link to the Article. 3. Audio and Video of the class. 4. Links to prayer and other appointments relevant for each class. 5. Link to schedule a Tutoring Support session with an Elder. 6. Class Questions.
  • Step 3: Find class material.
    It may require careful reading as some of the questions may refer to this information from time to time. Next, click on the link for the article: This will take you to the material for the class. You can also watch the video.
  • Step 4: Questions: Online and/or offline.
    If you are doing classes online on the CoH Academy website: After you have read the article and watched or listened to the video/audio, you are now ready to complete and submit the answers to the questions online. See remaining steps for further instructions. If you are doing classes in a workbook: In the workbook, the questions are found at the end of each chapter.  If you would like to receive credit for each class, you may easily enter your answers on our website, if you would like to have them checked. Register at www.cohacademy.com and sign in to complete the answers online. See remaining steps for further instructions.
  • Step 5: How to Answer Class Questions.
    Always use the SAME first and last name that you registered with, in order to get the credit for the class. Read each question carefully and follow the instructions. Select all answers that apply.  It can be more than one on some questions.  Hint: Often the questions are asked in the order they appear in the article.  Read the first question then read the article until you see the answer.   Answer the first question. Read the next question and read the article until you know that answer.   Answer the next question.
  • Step 6: Submit Answers.
    When you get the the very last question, there are two possible answers to select: If you select the first answer, then your class paper will be marked as usual. If you select the second answer, you will receive an email invitation to attend a Tutoring Session with an Elder where the class material will be explained.   Remember to click “Submit Answers” when you are done.
  • Step 7: Confirming Submission.
    After submitting your answers, you will receive a confirmation email with a message similar to this: Please note that it may take between 3 and 5 days for your answers to be marked and returned to you.  You do not have to wait to receive the marked class back, before continuing with the next class. FINALLY: After you have completed all the classes in a course, you can schedule a Discussion with a team member who will give you the password for the next course.     All appointments are done with Zoom which is FREE for you to use. This allows for privacy and meeting ability all across the world with only a wifi connection or a phone where you can dial a number to join the meeting. You will need to download the Zoom app at: www.zoom.us. Once you have made an appointment or booked an event, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will provide all the meeting information including the meeting link. After you have installed the zoom app, all you need to do is to click on the meeting link in your emal that says: "Join Zoom Meeting" and you will be ready to attend. Screen Sharing: As you go through the Academy, you might find that you need some technical advice from time to time. This might include help to book an appointment, how to submit class papers, how to change your password, etc. To enable us to help you, we might require that you share your screen with us so we can walk you through the steps. This is how you share your screen: 1 - Click on 'Share Screen'. 2 - Your current screen is highlighted in blue. 3 - Select and highlight (in blue) the screen you want to share. 4 - Click 'Share'. When you are done sharing your screen, click 'Stop Share'. Zoom Etiquette: Pay attention to your video, microphone and screen sharing settings to avoid embarrassing mistakes. When in a Zoom meeting, focus on the conversation - don't do house chores or drive. Ask and respond to questions using chat, unless asked by the host to unmute and speak.     Certain courses and classes should always be done in numerical order: 101-401. The password for the next course will be given in the last class of the course or at the discussion. FIRST: Click on “Learn about the CoH”. SECOND: Click on “101 Foundations”. THIRD: Select Class 101-1 (Grace and Mercy). MEDIA: Videos and podcasts for the course can be found by clicking on the "MEDIA" button. Each Courts Course has its own Media button. Watch the video or podcast for deeper learning. Extra learning material can be found in the videos labeled with a .2 or .5, such as 2.5. Not all classes have videos, some only have podcasts. All Courts Classes should be done in proper numerical order 101-1 followed by 101-2, etc. All Courts Courses should be done in order as well.   • Step 3: Find class material.
    It may require careful reading as some of the questions may refer to this information from time to time. Next, click on the link for the article: This will take you to the material for the class. You can also watch the video.
  • Step 4: Questions: Online and/or offline.
    If you are doing classes online on the CoH Academy website: After you have read the article and watched or listened to the video/audio, you are now ready to complete and submit the answers to the questions online. See remaining steps for further instructions. If you are doing classes in a workbook: In the workbook, the questions are found at the end of each chapter.  If you would like to receive credit for each class, you may easily enter your answers on our website, if you would like to have them checked.   • Step 5: How to Answer Class Questions.
    Always use the SAME first and last name that you registered with, in order to get the credit for the class. Read each question carefully and follow the instructions. Select all answers that apply.  It can be more than one on some questions.  Hint: Often the questions are asked in the order they appear in the article.  Read the first question then read the article until you see the answer.   Answer the first question. Read the next question and read the article until you know that answer.   Answer the next question.
  • Step 6: Submit Answers.
    When you get the the very last question, there are two possible answers to select: If you select the first answer, then your class paper will be marked as usual. If you select the second answer, you will receive an email invitation to attend a Tutoring Session with an Elder where the class material will be explained.   Remember to click “Submit Answers” when you are done.
  • Step 7: Confirming Submission.
    After submitting your answers, you will receive a confirmation email with a message similar to this: Please note that it may take between 3 and 5 days for your answers to be marked and returned to you.  You do not have to wait to receive the marked class back, before continuing with the next class. FINALLY: After you have completed all the classes in a course, you can schedule a Discussion with a team member who will give you the password for the next course.     If you are doing classes online on the CoH Academy website: After you have read the article and watched or listened to the video/audio, you are now ready to complete and submit the answers to the questions online. If you are doing classes in a workbook: In the workbook, the questions are found at the end of each chapter.  If you would like to receive credit for each class, you may easily enter your answers on our website, if you would like to have them checked.   • Step 5: How to Answer Class Questions.
    Always use the SAME first and last name that you registered with, in order to get the credit for the class. Read each question carefully and follow the instructions. Select all answers that apply.  It can be more than one on some questions.  Hint: Often the questions are asked in the order they appear in the article.  Read the first question then read the article until you see the answer.   Answer the first question. Read the next question and read the article until you know that answer.   Answer the next question.
  • Step 6: Submit Answers.
    When you get the the very last question, there are two possible answers to select: If you select the first answer, then your class paper will be marked as usual. If you select the second answer, you will receive an email invitation to attend a Tutoring Session with an Elder where the class material will be explained.   Remember to click “Submit Answers” when you are done.
  • Step 7: Confirming Submission.
    After submitting your answers, you will receive a confirmation email with a message similar to this: Please note that it may take between 3 and 5 days for your answers to be marked and returned to you.  You do not have to wait to receive the marked class back, before continuing with the next class. FINALLY: After you have completed all the classes in a course, you can schedule a Discussion with a team member who will give you the password for the next course.   • Step 3: Find class material.
    It may require careful reading as some of the questions may refer to this information from time to time. Next, click on the link for the article: This will take you to the material for the class. You can also watch the video.
  • Step 4: Questions: Online and/or offline.
    If you are doing classes online on the CoH Academy website: After you have read the article and watched or listened to the video/audio, you are now ready to complete and submit the answers to the questions online. See remaining steps for further instructions. If you are doing classes in a workbook: In the workbook, the questions are found at the end of each chapter.  If you would like to receive credit for each class, you may easily enter your answers on our website, if you would like to have them checked. Register at www.cohacademy.com and sign in to complete the answers online. See remaining steps for further instructions.
  • Step 5: How to Answer Class Questions.
    Always use the SAME first and last name that you registered with, in order to get the credit for the class. Read each question carefully and follow the instructions. Select all answers that apply.  It can be more than one on some questions.  Hint: Often the questions are asked in the order they appear in the article.  Read the first question then read the article until you see the answer.   Answer the first question. Read the next question and read the article until you know that answer.   Answer the next question.
  • Step 6: Submit Answers.
    When you get the the very last question, there are two possible answers to select: If you select the first answer, then your class paper will be marked as usual. If you select the second answer, you will receive an email invitation to attend a Tutoring Session with an Elder where the class material will be explained.   Remember to click “Submit Answers” when you are done.
  • Step 7: Confirming Submission.
    After submitting your answers, you will receive a confirmation email with a message similar to this: Please note that it may take between 3 and 5 days for your answers to be marked and returned to you.  You do not have to wait to receive the marked class back, before continuing with the next class. FINALLY: After you have completed all the classes in a course, you can schedule a Discussion with a team member who will give you the password for the next course. The link to schedule the Discussion is in the last class of each course. To move onto the next course, click on or hover over the “Courts” tab and select the next course.   • What is Zoom?
    All appointments are done with Zoom which is FREE for you to use. This allows for privacy and meeting ability all across the world with only a wifi connection or a phone where you can dial a number to join the meeting. You will need to download the Zoom app at: www.zoom.us. Once you have made an appointment or booked an event, you will receive a confirmation email. This email will provide all the meeting information including the meeting link. After you have installed the zoom app, all you need to do is to click on the meeting link in your emal that says: "Join Zoom Meeting" and you will be ready to attend. This video shows you how to join a meeting on your cell phone.   • How to use ZOOM on a computer (laptop or PC)
    VIDEO: Using Zoom on a PC or Laptop. When downloading the app, always select the 'basic' free app. If you can't find the Zoom app to download, you may try searching for Zoom Cloud meetings, or Zoom Client for meetings. Please take the time to download the app well before your meeting time so you can be sure you are on time. How to Install the Zoom app: Go to www.zoom.us. Click on "Sign up, it is free' and complete the required information. Click on "Go to download' Once installed, click on the Zoom icon to open the app. Ways to join a meeting using Zoom: Join by using a meeting link. You will find this link in the email you will receive as confirmation of your appointment. If, at this point you haven't installed Zoom, you will be prompted to do so when you click on the meeting link. Join by dialing from a landline or cell phone. The numbers to dial are at the bottom of the email you will receive as confirmation of your appointment. If they are not, here is the link to the international codes: Zoom International Dial-in Numbers - Zoom Follow the voice prompts that will help you to join the meeting. Join by using a Zoom number on your Zoom app. After you have downloaded the app, open it and click "Join". Find the meeting id number in the meeting confirmation email, enter the number into your Zoom app and click "Join'. Connecting to Audio: When joining for the first time, you want to "Join with Computer Audio". Thereafter it should be automatic. If you are having difficulty with your audio, here are some options to try: How to use Zoom controls on a laptop: 1 - Mute or unmute your device. Default for a meeting is always to mute your microphone, only unmute when asked to do so by the meeting host. You also have options to test your speaker and microphone and you can open audio settings. 2 - Turn your video on or off. Default for a meeting is to always turn your camera off unless asked to turn it on by the meeting host. Turning on your video slows down the speed of your internet. 3 - See who is present in the Zoom room. You can also change your name here. 4 - Open chat facility. 5 - Share your screen with others - only with permission and if asked to do so by the meeting host. 6 - Use reactions such as raising a hand, smiling, etc. 7 - Leave or end the meeting. 8 - Your profile picture. Screen Sharing: As you go through the Academy, you might find that you need some technical advice from time to time. This might include help to book an appointment, how to submit class papers, how to change your password, etc. To enable us to help you, we might require that you share your screen with us so we can walk you through the steps. This is how you share your screen: 1 - Click on 'Share Screen'. 2 - Your current screen is highlighted in blue. 3 - Select and highlight (in blue) the screen you want to share. 4 - Click 'Share'. When you are done sharing your screen, click 'Stop Share'. Zoom Etiquette: Pay attention to your video, microphone and screen sharing settings to avoid embarrassing mistakes. When in a Zoom meeting, focus on the conversation - don't do house chores or drive. Ask and respond to questions using chat, unless asked by the host to unmute and speak. Ensure your workspace is quiet. Be sensitive to background noises while you are speaking. Check your wifi, test your video and audio before the meeting. Familiarise yourself with the reaction buttons so you can raise a hand, etc. Turn off your video and don't forget to mute your device when not speaking. All appointments should always be kept confidential. Remember to always break soul ties after every meeting - you will learn more about this in the Academy classes. Don't be late.
